Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.anexaperu.com, what we use it for and what rights you have. We process your data in accordance with Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) and its regulations.

Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect

We only collect the data you decide to send us:

Inquiry forms (tour pages, Contact and Custom your trip): your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country or nationality, and the information about your trip that you write (dates, places, travel companions, hotels, budget, flights and comments).
Technical data: when you send a form we record your IP address and the date and time, to prevent spam and abuse.
Bookings: if you book a trip, we will ask you for the data needed to provide the services, such as your passport details for entrance tickets and Inca Trail permits. We ask for this directly, not through this website.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website.

What we use it for

To answer your inquiries and prepare quotes and itineraries.
To organize and manage the trips you book with us.
To protect the website against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to send you advertising without your consent.

Service providers: our web hosting provider and our email provider (Google), which store the messages you send us. These providers may store data outside Peru.
Suppliers of your trip (hotels, trains, transport, entrance tickets and permits from the Ministry of Culture), only when you book and only with the data each of them needs.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

If you use the WhatsApp button, your message is sent through WhatsApp (Meta) and is subject to its own privacy policy. This website only opens the chat with the text already written; it does not store it.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use its own cookies or analytics tools. Some pages show content from other companies, which may receive your IP address and use their own cookies:

Tripadvisor, in the reviews section of the home page.
Google Fonts, for the typefaces of the website.
Google Maps, on the Contact page.
YouTube, only when you play a video (privacy-enhanced mode).

Links to Facebook, Instagram and Tripadvisor only take you to those websites, each with its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiries for as long as needed to answer them and manage your trip, and booking data for the periods required by tax and accounting law. The IP address used for spam protection is deleted after a few minutes.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, rectify or delete your data, or object to its use (ARCO rights), by writing to info@anexaperu.com. We will reply within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with Peru’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection (Ministry of Justice and Human Rights).

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our mailboxes is protected with passwords. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
