About Andean Expeditions and Adventure Perú
Although it is true, ANDEAN EXPEDITIONS AND ADVENTURES (ANEXA) started to open in 2017 as an independent Peruvian company. But our history goes back many years ago; when we were a kind of undercover local operator for overseas travel companies, without exposing our own name or brand for merchandising purposes for those companies. Working that way, we gained and learned experience, attending clients that came to Peru for cultural and adventure purposes from different nationalities and ages.
Those companies with the pass of years were closing letting us know about it. Since they developed already a market of potential clients during their years of operations, these last three years they referral us clients to keep maintaining their high level of service and reputation with our services in Peru. Having in that way a non-intermediary agent to involve.
Isaias Canchi and Rene Calancha founded ANEXA, bough long time good friends (now partners) started to be involved in tourism industry since at least 25 years ago.
Isaias Canchi, graduated as Tourist Guide, was for many years park ranger on Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Because it; later his passed to work for worldwide trekking and tour companies developing his knowledge as trekking and operations manager. Now he is in charge of all outdoors activities in ANEXA.
Rene Calancha, graduated as Licensed in Tourism, started to work in many areas in hotel industry of Cusco. Later, he passed to be assistant guide on Inca Trail hike. Having promoted as main Inca Trail guide he was hired by many good reputations companies in Peru to lead groups around the entire country. In ANEXA, he is in charge to create programs and itineraries in constantly communications with clients.
Beside Isaias and Rene, there are professional people such office workers, accountants, drivers, porters, cooks and guides whom had experience involved in tourism services.
